Darragh McDermott
Darragh is currently a High School English teacher and Head Gymnastics Coach at Lyons Township High School in La Grange, Illinois. She received her B.A. in English and Secondary Education at the University of Illinois where she also competed for the Varsity Swimming and Diving team. Additionally, Darragh received her M.S. in Teaching and Learning from the University of St. Francis.
Darragh has been involved with BrainUp since its creation in honor of Olivia Kresach, who passed away from a Glioblastoma in 2014. She has been actively involved, especially in establishing the Lagunitas Fundraiser in 2016. Darragh is proud to serve on the YPB for BrainUp.
