Dan and Meg Kresach are the founders of BrainUp and the proud parents of their beautiful and only child, Olivia. Olivia lost her battle to brain cancer (GBM) at the age of 22 in 2014, after a short, 4-month fight with this terrible disease. Dan and Meg vowed to do all they could to stop it. Their vision led to the creation of their foundation, BrainUp. Their goal is to raise money for research and to find a cure. Dan, former owner of Melody Mart for over 40 years, and Meg, former executive director of Silver Cross Hospital for 25 years, retired from their successful careers in 2017. Together, they founded BrainUp in 2016 and now work tirelessly for its vision and mission.
BrainUp is an non-profit organization dedicated to bringing awareness to brain cancer – a disease that doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
