Jack Houze

Today we honor and remember Jack Houze, who, as witnessed by being included on the BrainUp 2023 Wall of Courage, faced glioblastoma for more than five years with the same courage, dignity, and unwavering kindness that defined his entire life. Even through the most difficult moments, Jack continued to radiate compassion, offering encouragement, gratitude, and grace to everyone around him.

Jack was a devoted husband, a caring father, and a proud grandfather whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. His quiet strength, gentle spirit, and boundless generosity made him a steady source of comfort and inspiration. He showed all who knew him what it means to face adversity with hope, purpose, and a heart full of love.

As a symbol of Jack’s warmth and light, this sunflower stands in tribute to a life lived faithfully and lovingly.

He will be forever remembered and profoundly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to support BrainUp’s mission in Jack’s honor.
